Liquidity funds are available for both collectors and hard assets holders through collateralized transactions where CAMI’s funding programs provide lending facilities at competitive market rates.

Institutional investors looking to benefit from exposure to uncorrelated hard assets can invest in CAMI’s traditional benchmark-driven index funds.  These funds are available to institutional investors and utilize rare coins and precious metals as an alternative asset class to further diversify investment portfolios. Rare Coins as an Alternative Investment Asset Class

CAMI’s dedicated team of financial professionals has extensively studied the investment characteristics of rare coins as an alternative asset class.  CAMI is proud to be among the first companies to offer investors access to a wide array of investment funds offering exposure to the rare coins market.

These funds are available to institutional investors and utilize rare coins and precious metals as an alternative asset class to further diversify investment portfolios. The relatively recent advent of transparent, visible pricing in the Certified Rare Coin market provided the key data inputs needed to transfer stock-market investment management techniques to the coin market.  Certified Rare Coins now have the liquidity and visible pricing necessary to provide investors with access to an asset class that has lower volatility and low to zero correlation with traditional investment asset classes.

In-house proprietary research has shown that investing in Rare Coins provided outstanding diversification during the recent 2007-2009 financial crisis.   To the surprise of most investors, during the recent draw-down period investing in rare coins provided better performance than investing in gold on a risk-adjusted basis.

Tangible Assets are “real” assets that are expected to provide protection against future inflation.Considering the current world-wide recession, it is expected that a high-inflation environment will be part of our daily lives in the future.

Investors have recently found refuge in gold bullion as a safe-haven asset; in CAMI’s opinion Rare Coins offer an alternative safe-haven asset class to further protect against future inflation.
